I have none. I am kinda getting impatient as it has been almost two months, but they were packed with cars getting ready before the Porsche Parade a couple weeks ago. I really wanna stop by and see the car(I like to check up on it and just look at it), but I don’t want to be a nuisance, but I’m genuinely curious what’s going on.
It’s in good hands so I’m not worried about that. What to do?

Check up on it, maybe bring a pizza in for the techs. But yeah if it's been a few weeks I'd definitely check up on it, just to see some sweet 911.

I could bring them a pizza? Is that bribery or subliminal persuasion or something? Mmmm maybe it’s just a goodwill suggestion. :)
I just want the 911 back even though I’m totally enjoying having the entire garage for the 944.

Because you asked what to do. If you can’t drive one red Porsche, drive your other one.

Haha, just a nice gesture. I’m good family friends with the guy that owns the shop I go to, so whenever I have a more serious job I bring a pizza with me. I mean, he's charging me so little it's the least I can do.

Fair enough. This our first time working with this shop, so there isn't that much of an established relationship. Hopefully in time it'll turn into a good one.

I went into my shop to check on my car many times when it was in the shop. You just have to not act like a PITA. I would just hang out and chat...it wasn’t always about the car when I stopped by, I consider the shop pretty good friends, we’re all on the same page, so they know I’m not sneaking in to bust balls, they have a ton of cool toys, so sometimes it’s fun just to see what else is going on. Since I know my way around a wrench set, I’ve also helped out on a couple jobs and it’s all good. We’re all car people.

Good plan. I must've missed the first post about taking the 911 to the shop, but what's being done to it?

The fuel injector seals for one, and actually getting it safely running. And an oil change.
